El jueves 10 llegue a “Sydney” y, después de demostrar al de recepción que yo tenía reserva hecha en ese albergue, me fui directo a la “University of Technology”. Allí, por fin conocí a mi amiga “Kalpana”, una chica india con la que había estado hablando por teléfono desde que llegué a Australia y que me consiguió la entrevista con la universidad. Bueno, le di todos mis datos, expediente, recomendaciones, etc. Luego estuve hablando con ella, de cómo podía pedir una beca, ya que no podría entrar en la universidad sin ella. Ella me dijo que ni se me ocurriera pedir beca, que era muy difícil conseguirla. Así que le pregunte como podía pagar la universidad si n becas, si había plazos o algo así. Pero ella me dijo que la única manera de pagar la universidad era buscando un patrocinador. Cuando le pregunté que como se conseguía un patrocinador, y aquí quiero recalcar la importancia de los amigos, me dijo que ya estaba buscando uno. De la alegría le di un abrazo y le dije que muchas gracias por todo. Me pregunto si no me importaba quedarme aquí después de la universidad, como ya suponía, y me dijo que seguiría buscando patrocinador para mí. Así que, finalmente, me despedí de ella diciendo: “Si me encuentras patrocinador te invito a cenar”.

On Thursday 10th I arrived at Sydney and, after show to the hostel owner that I’d booked my bed, I went directly to the ‘University of Technology’. Finally, there met to my friend ‘Kalpana’, one Indian girl who I was calling since I’d arrived to Australia and who get my interview for enter into the university. I gave her all that she needed to enroll me in the university, then I was talking with her about how apply for a scholarship. She said to me that it was impossible to get a scholarship. I asked her how I could pay the university, I mean, if I could pay half and half or something like this. She said to me that the best way to pay the university was getting a sponsor. When I asked her about getting a sponsor, she said to me that she had been looking for a sponsor for me. I hang her because of the happiness of the moment and I thanked everything. She asked to me if I mind to stay here after finish my degree, I answered no and she continued searching my sponsor. Finally, I said to her: ‘If you get a sponsor for me, I’ll invite you to dinner’.
