Canberra

Bien, el miércoles 16 empezó mi viaje por carretera desde “Sidney” hasta “Melbourne”. No iba conduciendo yo, fue en un viaje organizado con un grupo de 11 “Backpackers” (Mochileros). El viaje prometía ser bueno, además de bonito. El viaje lo empezamos en “Canberra”, la capital de Australia.
Lo cierto es que la ciudad es muy moderna, no pudimos ver mucho, porque estaba lloviendo. Pero, aun así, no parecía que hubiese mucho que ver. Es una ciudad con muchas avenidas, está hecha artificialmente para albergar el gobierno australiano, y no para vivir en ella como en otras ciudades. Hay muchos parques y muchas avenidas, pero las distancias entre los edificios oficiales son muy grandes, y siempre tienes que tomar el bus para ir de un sitio a otro.
Sobre la gente no puedo decir nada, porque no conocí a nadie, estaba lloviendo mucho y no había gente por las calles, y del grupo, conocí a una pareja, ella española y el australiano, hice amistad con ellos, pero no eran del tipo de personas que me seguían cuando les decía de hacer algo.

On Wednesday 16th of February, my trip from Sidney to Melbourne began. It was an organized tour with other 11 Backpackers. The trip seemed to be nice and Beautiful. The trip started in Canberra.
The city is a so modern city, but we couldn’t see a lot because it was raining. But it didn’t seem that there were plenty of thing to see. It’s a city built artificially for be the Government head in Australia and no to live in it. There are a lot of parks and avenues, but the distance between them is so long. And you must always take the bus to go everywhere.
About the people I cannot say anything because I did not know anybody, it was raining a lot and there are not people in the streets. And the people of my group, I only knew a couple, she is Spanish and he is Australian, but they are not the kind of people that they said yes when I proposed something.
